HQ VERSION IS UP!, thanks a ton i can’t belive i won! =D www.mediafire.com *EDIT: The HQ version my require codecs to be seen, origonaly it was codeded in the x264vfw64 codec, but ive swaped to Xvid so all you Linux users can see it as well. I have added link a the bottom of the description but strongly i recomend trying to view it without the Xvid codec first, and then if no video is visible, follow the download links and instructions accoring to the website for your OS. Be aware codecs can mess up your pc if incorrectly installed or configured, so you install Xvid at your own risk. *I am also shadowgaz on egosofts awsome forums ^_^* *I am very sorry, i totaly fogot to mention there are some huge spoilers not storyline, but ships and what not.* This is my entry into the X3 Terran Conflict video competition, this version on you tube is 89.0mb and is 5:34 long, the music and voice and video clips have been edited and therefore fall within use of creative commons, and can be used to promote the game commercially as long as credit is given to the original creators and the video itself isnt sold, the creators are as follows. Video source © X3 Terran Conflict Voice clips © X3 Terran Conflict Music in order of use: Prelude © Pendulum Blood Sugar © Pendulum When worlds Collide © Power man 5000 It is 105mb, please note the higher quality version is roughly 70% of the overall quality of the video however during video encoding I deleted the original =s, also note there may be …

Why even compare these camcorders? Almost everything is different, escpecially the price. The camcorder IS working properly but has much lower quality.
I’m sorry but it was a waste of time watching this.
@TheCanadianPublic Thank’s for the info , i kind of thiught it was the replacement, but wasn’t sure, i know the touchscreen is hard to get use too
@MrE2727 Yep. The M300 is its direct model replacement of the HF200. It’s major difference is the new touchscreen which I can’t stand.
Is this camera in the same range as the Canon HF M300?
@TheCanadianPublic I definitely understand 15/10 is 1.5, but it is immediately obvious how this affects the view perspective or how one will appreciate it.
The camera would be new, ordered directly from Canon. It hasn’t “fallen” from a truck or anything!
@TheCanadianPublic I *definitely* noticed that!! The playback on it too is 15fps at best.
@stingoh Another thing. The M30′s touchscreen really sucks!
@stingoh I disqualified the HF S200 from review consideration because 1) it’s expensive, 2) it’s a bit big for one’s hand, and 3) it has side-mounted microphones. Hint: where is the sound coming from?
As for the zoom, the difference between 10X and 15X is only 1.5X. (10 times 1.5 equals 15). Unless you’re spying on someone, the extra reach might not be important to you.
If the camcorder is in good condition, I’d say go ahead and take a chance! That price is a real steal for what it can do!
@TheCanadianPublic Btw, great shots of old montreal. I’m an exiled Montrealer, I miss it!
@TheCanadianPublic Oh sorry yes, I was thinking of the HF S200. I compared the S200 and M30 this morning in the store just to get an idea of what I would be losing with a 10x optical zoom instead of 15x, and I was surprised, it really seemed like 10x was fine. I am able to get the S200 at $499 through a family member who works at Canon so I am super tempted to just get it. Have you tried it and if so is there anything that would make you recommend against it?
@stingoh No. It’s 15x. You might have gotten your models mixed up. There’s no HS 200 model out there, but there is a higher quality and more expensive HF S200 model available which does have a 10x optical zoom. This review however is for the HF200 model.
You said the HS 200 is a 15x optical zoom, but it’s 10x optical zoom, no?
@TheCanadianPublic im in the market for a camera so by all means mention them!
Hahaha, Epic one at the end. He used it to hold the door. xDxDxD
@LumixCreations
agreed, as well the Sanyo costs about 120-150$ now
Fun comparison review… Good to see that you get what you pay for. I’ll be picking up the Canon tomorrow.
For true professional results, use a professional shotgun microphone mounted on a boom, with the microphone pointing DOWNWARDS so that it only picks up the speaker and nothing else. The recording should be made on a separate device, preferably one with an XLR connection to minimize noise.
The Rode microphones shown in the video will also work, but they do have their limitations, one of them being the cable can’t be longer than what’s already included otherwise you’ll get lots of hiss.
Hey man, what are the microphones you showed at the and attached to the HF200? I just got mine and Im planning on shooting an amateur documental interviewing ppl. Do you think these microphones would do the trick? Or should I get a boom microphone?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!
Your comparing a $200 camera to a $700 camera, big surprise there.
With canon you really do pay for quality. I got the HF-s20 and i love it. I got the 4hr battery an extra 32gb and thats bout it. The only thing i wanted was the wide angle but they barely make a difference and are upwards of $200. Also have a g10 still, and it takes AMAZING pictures.
Acid Trumpet.
What’s the name of the song that starts at 1:14?
lol sti tabarnak haha that was just place at the right pplace lol good vids !
Not always. Sometimes you do find very cheap products that exceed everyone’s expectations.
It’s just that the Sanyo isn’t one of them.
Ah, very good test. To conclude, the more expensive camera is better than the cheap one….
@theeclownbro What about it?
@Dasmaster1 you said something that was written in the x encyclopedia but for some reason i cant find what you said
Hnggg, I wish titanic fleet vs fleet fights actually occurred in my games rather than occassional skirmishes. Amazing video.
Its really too bad that this game doesnt support multiple cores, correct me if im wrong though.
@BladeofSalvation haha, i just got my first complexes up and bought me a frigate, my first time i played as a fighter type and did well enough but wanted easier money, so restarted as trader and now have like 2 complexes and two really nice yield mines, 4 universal traders and boy does the cash roll in, its great xD Was actually gonna buy this ship but decided not to cause its a bomber type and well i don’t really fight much atm.
@soulshrine damnit looks like the buzzard ..got to play more ^^
@BladeofSalvation Wrong but thank you it helped me find out which one it is, M8 teladi ship, not m4. xD looks sooo coooool.
@soulshrine its a m4 made from the teladi
@theeclownbro What do you mean?

Terrans for the win!!!!!
@Rectu Well, if you’re like me and think Spaceships can be rather fetching. Yeah!
My friend played this, he was always a pirate.
You rock!Very creative video and great music ,it fits perfect.
At least there’s not a lot of Ka’ahk running around, I hated getting violated by all those Ka’ahk
@101jir The Paranid are a insectoid culture that have a closed society based around the religious worship of “Xaar”. Paranid are physically strong, with an aptitude for science. They produce a number of high-tech goods – including weapons technology. They tolerate trade, but are culturally insular and do not encourage social contact with other races. Strangers are unwelcome in their sectors, and will typically be turned away, making it virtually impossible to befriend or even understand them.
@Dasmaster1 ATM, the Automatic transfer machines from another planet LOL.
Oh well, better than having alien malamutes! What are the Paranid like?
@101jir Oh forgot Gonar (between ATF and #Deca)
@101jir
ATF (AGI Task Force) currently have the best ships in the game. So you better take them seriously~ (also they are US, people that still live on the earth)
Isn’t it ironic that the guy that posted this calls himself failingking? If ever I saw an epic win, this is it!
@Dasmaster1 ATM LOL! I should have figured that couldn’t be right, no one would take them seriously if that was their name. THX.
