Question by Erma B: Any software to view and explore codec of any video?
I am looking for a program that can open any video file that displays its video codec, video size and other features.

I used to have a free program, possibly caled ASFtools, but not sure on that. I haven’t found exactly what I am looking for yet

Any help is appreciated.
Also looking to see what AUDIO codecs are in a video file too.

Is this what you mean? It’s called GSpot codec identifier, and it’s a free download … as in, it doesn’t cost you anything … ever!
