Ditch the javascript, and html5 will be worth something. With JS it’s just piece of scripting, not typed, one-hell-to-debug crap.

Google’s Chrome and Firefox have done a great job on HTML5 and speed. HTML5 is the future, and even IE9 is doing great on it.

In my experience, flash is a horrible platform for video. The seek function in the player fails miserably about 50% of the time.

It’s not that HTML5 is gonna be so much more blazing fast than Adobe. The whole point of HTML5 is to riddle out those dirty capitalistic monopolies like Adobe, who literally have played by their own rules for years now. “Fuck security fixes and updates, what are people gonna do, use Java? Haha”
